Locate the IP address of the Xfinity router in the Default Gateway section.
The IP address of the router is 10.0.0.1. Type the IP address in the address bar of your browser.
Once you are on the web-based setup page of the Xfinity router, go to the Advanced section.
Select Device Discovery and enable UPnP.
This feature will automatically open ports for applications and services on your network.
You can disable UPnP anytime from the setup page.
Once you have made the required settings, make sure to save them.
