Connect the Verizon router to a power source and turn it on.
You have to go to the web-based setup page of the router to configure your router.
Press the Windows and R buttons together to launch the Run dialog box.
Enter cmd in the search section and hit the Enter key.

When the Login Setup screen appears, create a username and password for your account.
Enter the password again for confirmation.
Choose the time zone from the drop-down list and click on the Apply button.
Once you are on the web-based setup page of the Verizon router, click the Advanced Setup tab.
Select the IP Addressing option on the left panel of the screen.
Click WAN IP settings and set the required settings.
Choose the ISP protocol, IP type, and other required settings.
Make sure to save the settings you have made by clicking on the Apply button. You will get a confirmation message on the screen when the setup is complete.
Navigate to the Utilities tab and click on the Reboot button.
