Hardware Connection

  • Unpack the router and take out the other accessories present in the product box.
  • Connect an Ethernet cable between your modem and the Internet port on the router.
  • Connect another Ethernet cable between the LAN port of the router and your computer.
  • Plug in the power adapter to the router. Now, turn on your modem, router, and computer in the same sequence.

Configure The Computer

  • Right-click on the Network icon at the lower right corner.
  • Click Open Network and Sharing Center.
  • Click Change adapter settings.
  • Right-click on Local Area Connection and then choose Properties.
  • Select Internet Protocol Version 4 and then click Properties.
  • Choose Obtain an IP address automatically.

  • Type in the default IP address of the router (192.168.0.1) in the address bar and then press Enter.
  • Enter the login credentials. The default user name is admin and the default login password is admin. Then press OK.
  • Under Internet Connection Setup, click the type of connection.
  • Click on Advanced and go to Internet Connection setup.Choose the Internet Connection type as static IP.
  • Enter the information provided by your ISP. If you don't know about it, consult your ISP.
  • Check the connection status. If it shows connected, then you can use your internet.
  • Click the Wireless tab.
  • Change the primary SSID as you prefer.
  • Select the wireless security for your wireless network.
  • Change the security settings as you prefer and click OK.
