Tenda F300  is a wireless router designed to be set in Client Router mode to support a WISP connection. The Tenda F300 router setup is quite simple if you follow the quick steps given below.

  • Before starting, verify that your modem is working properly and you are getting a stable Internet connection from it.
  • Unpack the router from the product box and place it on a flat surface closer to the modem.
  • Ensure that your modem is turned off.
  • Connect your modem and the router using the supplied Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable from the modem should be plugged into the router's  WAN
  • Next, take another Ethernet cable and connect it to the router's LAN Connect the other end of the cable to your Windows computer.
  • Turn on your modem and router.
  • Observe the LEDs on the router and ensure that they are functioning properly.
  • After completing the Tenda F300 router set up using the network cables, move on to your computer.
  • Open the default browser and enter your router's IP address in the URL
  • You will be now directed to the Tenda router's login portal.
  • You can identify the router's IP address from its label.
  • Alternatively, you can identify it using the  Command Prompt  app on your Windows computer.
  • Click the  Start menu at the bottom-left corner of the desktop and type 'cmd' in the search panel.
  • From the search result, right-click the  Command Prompt app and select  Run as administrator .
  • Type' ipconfig' in the  Command Prompt window and press  Enter .
  • Navigate to the Default Gateway  section and identify your router's IP address.
  • On the Tenda router login portal, enter the default login credentials and click  OK .
  • After logging in to your router's setup page, configure the necessary settings and save them.
  • It is suggested to change the default login credentials forthe router setup page to secure your Wi-Fi network. And complete the Tenda F300 router setup.
