Setup IPvanish On Netgear Router
IP Vanish provides the VPN connection service for the routers, and it works with the DD-WRT compatible routers. DD-WRT is a Linux based router firmware used for wireless router network security. The following procedure helps you to
setup IPvanish on Netgear router.

You need to connect the router to the computer using an Ethernet cable.
Before you can start the setup, visit the official IP Vanish website and sign up for a subscription plan.
Create an account and pay for the subscription.
Following that, on the other tab of the browser, go to the official DD-WRT website and search for your Netgear model.
If the router supports the DD-WRT firmware, then download the firmware and save it on the computer to setup IPvanish on Netgear router.

Next, open the Netgear router login page in the browser window and enter the username and password to access the
Reset the router settings and then navigate to the Advanced panel.
Select the Administration menu and choose the Router Update option.
Now, browse the system and select a suitable flash file from the DD-WRT package.
Maintain the power connection of the router during the entire update process.
When the flash is complete, log in to the DD-WRT web interface with the DNS address of the IP Vanish.
Modify the Network Settings as it is required and save the settings.
Now, click the Services tab, then scroll down to find the System Log division, and click the Enable radio button of Syslogd to get the logs.
The logs can help you to keep up with the network activity and enable you to determine the connection issue quickly.
Go to the VPN section and make the necessary VPN settings. Copy the code provided on the IP Vanish page and paste it in the CA Cert box, which is under VPN.
Select the Save button and finally click the Apply button to setup IPvanish on Netgear router.
