Hardware Connection

  • If your modem is turned on, turn it off.
  • Connect the Ethernet cable’s one end to the WAN port of your Netis router and its other end to the modem's LAN port.
  • Take another Ethernet cable and plug its one end into the LAN port of the router.
  • Connect the Ethernet cable’s other end to your computer’s Ethernet port.
  • Power up the modem.
  • Connect the power adapter between the router’s PWR jack and an electrical socket.
  • Wait until the router turns on automatically.
  • Now, you have finished the Netis WF2710 router setup hardware.

Configure The Router Settings Via The Web Management Page

First, you have to set the IP address on your computer as Automatic or DHCP. To do this, perform the instructions given here.

On Windows 8, 7, or Vista:

  • Launch the Control Panel screen and click the Network and Internet option. Select the Network and Sharing Center option.
  • Choose the Change adapter settings or Manage network connections option.
  • Right-click the Local Area Connection option and click the Properties option.
  • Now, locate the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) option and double-click it. Select the options given below.
