Enter your router's model number in the search panel and click the Downloads tab.
Locate the latest firmware version and click the Download button.
Once downloaded, open the Downloads folder and unzip the downloaded file.
Next, open the default browser again and enter the router's IP address in the URL field.
It will direct you to the Netgear router's login portal.
Enter the login credentials to access the router's settings page.
Click the Advanced tab and select Administration.
Click on Firmware Update and select Browse to choose your firmware file.
Once selected, click the Upload button and wait for the update to complete.
Do not turn off your router while updating the firmware.
Once the update is completed, your router will be restarted automatically.
