The requirements to setup Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 R7000P router are:
An updated browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari)
An extra Ethernet cable (optional)
A computer connected to the modem
Connect the antennas to the Netgear Nighthawk router and position them to 90 degrees (Positioning the antennas helps in giving the best Wi-Fi performance).
Connect the power cord to the power source and the router to turn it on.
Make sure the router LEDs are stable.
Make sure the router is powered on.
Connect the provided Ethernet cable to the modem and the Nighthawk router.
Open the default browser on your computer.
