  • Unpack the router and keep it close to your modem. Take its power cord and connect it to the power supply.
  • Insert the other end of the power cable to the router's power slot located on the rear side. The router will turn on now.
  • Your router must be connected to a modem to provide the local network with an Internet connection. Plug one of the ends of an Ethernet cable into the Internet (WAN) port on the router. 
  • Connect the other end of the cable to an available LAN port on the rear of your modem. Similarly, connect your computer to the router using another Ethernet cable.
  • The Linksys WRT150N router has a web page for configuration. Use any preferred web browser to log in to the web-based configuration page. 
  • Enter Linksys WRT150N router’s IP Address in the address bar of your web browser.
  • Press the Enter key and a dialog box pops up asking you for your Linksys WRT150N router’s username and password. The default usernames and passwords for the Linksys WRT150N are provided on the router’s label.
