The Linksys router speed might be slower than the modem either due to the firmware version of your router or the computer’s firewalls.

First of all, disable all the active firewalls on your computer.
Then, try to connect your Linksys router to the computer and check the speed rate.

Change or set the mode of your Linksys router to Mixed.
Change the band ratio to Wide 40 Mhz and wide channel to 9 to resolve Linksys router speed slower than modem issue.
Set the Standard channel to 11.
Try connecting your Linksys router directly to the computer using an Ethernet cable instead of connecting over a wireless network.

Disable the IPv6 option on your computer and then try to perform the download process.
To disable the IPv6 option on your Windows 10 computer, follow the instructions given below.
Locate and right-click on the Network/ Wi-Fi icon available in the taskbar.
Select the Open Network and Sharing Center option from the Context menu.
Now, the Network & Sharing Center dialog box will open.
Locate and click the Change adapter Settings link.
Now, a list of wireless networks will be displayed on the screen.
Locate and right-click on your network.
Choose the Properties option.
Click the Networking tab.
Scroll down the options list and search for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
On fixing Linksys router speed slower than modem issue, Deselect the checkbox beside the IPv6 option.
Restart your Windows 10 computer.
