How to Setup Linksys AC1750 Router
Connect the power cord to the Linksys router and the electrical outlet.
Attach the Ethernet cable to the router’s Internet port and the modem.
Wait till the router is setting up a network connection. The progress will be indicated on the next screen using a blue bar.
Once the connection is established, you have to specify the Wireless network name and the password.
Key in the administrator password in the next step and wait until the update process takes place.

The first step for enabling the parental controls option is to launch the Linksys Connect software on your system.
Select the Parental Controls option and then key in the password for Parental Controls.
Re-enter the administrator password in the Verify Password field. Specify a secret question and provide its answer to recover your password if you forget it.
Click OK to save the configuration and select the device for which you want to apply parental control.
The chosen device will not be able to access the net or certain sites after saving the settings.

Linksys ac1750 VPN setup
Proceed with the following steps to set the VPN.
Sign into the Cisco Connect Cloud.
Click Connectivity. Next, select the Internet Settings- IPv4 and then click Edit.
Select the Connection Type as PPTP.
Enter the required details for the connection settings and click Apply.
Next, select the Local Network settings and then apply the DNS servers to the Google Public DNS.
Now, confirm the VPN settings and apply.

First, plug the Ethernet cable from the computer into any ports at the back of the Linksys router.
Now, connect the router to the electrical wall outlet using the power adapter.
Open a new web browser and type the IP address of the Router in the address bar and then tap Enter.Now, type the required credentials and tap Login.
Click Connectivity followed by the Internet Settings tab.
Then, click Edit. Next, set the Connection Type to Bridge mode in the drop-down menu.
Set up the IP address for the configuration of the router.
Click the Apply button and save the settings.
The Warning screen appears. Click Yes.
The router is now set to the Bridge mode.

Make sure that the Maximum Transmission Unit is adjusted. If not, proceed to make the settings.
Click Search Charm under the Charms bar.
Then, click Command Prompt. The Command Prompt window will appear.
Type in ping[URL] [-f] [MTU value] and then tap the Enter key.
Next, reduce the packet size by 10. Then, try to decrease the Wireless Interface.
Next, change the wireless settings of the router. Go to the routers web-based setup page and click Wireless.
Next, under the Wireless menu, select Basic Wireless Settings and then choose Manual.
Go to the Network Name section and set the desired name for your Wi-Fi network. Now, click the Save Settings option.
Proceed to update the firmware of the Router.
Go to the manufacturer website and then type the login details with the current password admin.
Click Administration and then select Firmware upgrade.
Now, click the Browse button. Choose the downloaded file and tap Open.
Then, tap the Start Upgrade button to begin the process.
Next, tap Continue once the upgrading process is over. Power off the router and then turn it on.
Linksys AC1750 light blinking
If the Linksys ac1750 lights blinking, might be due to the firmware corruption.Perform the following, do solve the problem.
First, make sure to power cycle the router. Disconnect the power cord from the router and the electric socket for about 30 seconds.
Next, connect them back after 30 seconds. Then, disconnect the power cord and Ethernet cable and connect them back.
Now, plug the power cord into the electrical socket. Try to assign the IP address to the computer.
At the right-bottom of the Desktop screen, you can find the Network icon and right-click it.
Then, click Open Network and Sharing Center.
Select Change Adapter settings.
Next, select Local Area Connection by right-clicking the icon and then click Properties.
Now, the Local Area Connection Properties window will appear.
Choose Internet Protocol Version 4 and then click Properties.
Click the Use the following IP address and then provide the IP address, Subnet mask, and the Default gateway in their specific fields.
Select Use the following DNS server addresses option and type the Preferred DNS server. Click OK.Next Ping your router. Go to the Command Prompt window.
Windows 10, long-press the Windows key and enter cmd in the search field and choose Command once it is seen.
Key in any website in the Command Prompt box and then tap the Enter key.
Now, check the Ping statistics and check which computers are connected to the Internet.
Now, reset the router. Keep pressing the Reset button for 30 seconds.
Disconnect the power cord from the router for about 10 seconds and then connect it back again.
Finally, try updating the router firmware.
