Update Firmware on Motorola Router

Like any software, with time, the firmware on MG7550 can become outdated. You can update the firmware on your Motorola MG7550 router by following the guidelines mentioned below.
- Ensure that the Motorola MG7550 router is connected to an active internet connection. Proceed to enter the IP address of the router on your browser’s address bar and press Enter. The Motorola router’s IP address is usually found on a sticker on the device or in the user guide.
- Enter the default Motorola router username and password which are admin and motorola respectively.
- After logging in to your Motorola router interface, locate the router’s firmware version by going to the Firmware Update tab.
- In a new tab on your browser, go to the manufacturer’s site and type MG7550 in the search field. Go to the MG7550 router’s download section.
- Find the latest Motorola MG7550 router firmware version and download it to your computer.
