The setup and installation of the Belkin router are quite easy, and you don’t have to be worried about the complicated steps, as seen in your user manual.
Follow the directions described below to Setup a Belkin N750 Router:
- Take out the Ethernet cable that comes while unboxing the N750 router, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the router, and the other end to the computer.
Installation CD:
- The Belkin N75 router comes with an installation CD, insert the CD to the CD drive.
- Open the CD drive from the My Computer option.
- The computer will take some time to read the CD, and then the Belkin setup page will open.
- Click the Get connected option in the window.
- The Belkin setup window will prompt you to enter the default login credentials (the network name and password is provided at the back of the router).
- Enter the credentials and click Next.
- The setup progress will now take place, and you will see the progress screen.
- Once the initial setup is complete, you will see the message Success! You are now securely connected to the internet.
- If you want to make changes to the SSID, password, and security type, click the advanced tools option at the bottom of the page. (Optional)
Manual Setup:
Follow the directions as described below to Setup a Belkin N750 Router to your computer manually:
- Click the Start button on your Windows.
- In the search bar, type Wireless and press the Enter button.
- Open the top search result, click Network & Internet settings.
- You will now see of wireless networks, select the Belkin wireless network from the list and enter the login password.
- The Belkin N750 router will be connected to the computer.
WPS button:
- Enable the WPS feature on your computer or any other wireless device you would like to connect to the Belkin router.
- Within a couple of minutes, hold the WPS button on the router.
- The WPS light will start blinking. Once the connection is secure, the light will turn solid.
