Set Up A Static IP Address On Your Netgear Router

Log into your router for which you have to make use of the IP address, 192.168.1.1.
In the Authentication Required dialog box, type admin in the User Name field. Next, type in the password in the Password field. Then, click on the Log In button.
When the Netgear genie opens up, click the ADVANCED tab. On the left pane, click on Setup. The Setup option will now expand to display a list of items.
From these items, choose LAN Setup.

On the next page, if you look below the Address Reservation title, you will see your network hard drive along with its IP address.
Open the default browser on your computer and type the IP address in the address bar. You will now find your network hard drive on the screen. Start using the hard drive according to your requirements.
