How to Enable WPS on Huawei Router
You need to connect your Huawei router to a computer first.
You can either connect wirelessly or with the help of an Ethernet cable.
After connecting the router to the computer (Windows), open the default browser and enter the router's IP address in the URL field.
Press the Enter button to access the router's login portal.
You can identify the router's IP address from the label attached to the backside of the router.
If you aren't able to identify the router's IP address, click the Start menu at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Type 'cmd' in the search panel and hit the Enter key.
Give a double-click on the Command Prompt app.
In the Command Prompt window, type 'ipconfig' and press the Enter key.
Navigate to the Default Gateway section and note down the IP address.
Now, when you are on the router’s login page, enter 'user' in the Username field and type 'HuaweiUser' in the Password field.
Click the Submit button to access your router's settings page.
Next, click the Home Network tab at the top of the window and select WLAN Access from the left-side panel.
WLAN WPS, click the Enable WPS checkbox.
WPS mode will be enabled on your Huawei router.
WPS Push button on the Huawei router and check if the WLAN indicator is blinking.
In the router's settings page, click the
Save button and close the window.
To connect your mobile device, turn on the
Wi-Fi button first.
Next, go to
Settings and select Advanced settings.
Tap on the WPS option and go to the Huawei router.
Press and hold the
WPS Push button for five seconds to establish the wireless network connection between the devices.
This process should be completed within 2 minutes.

Huawei SmartHome app:
First, install the
Huawei SmartHome app on your smartphone.
Connect it to the router's Wi-Fi network and open the
Huawei SmartHome app.
Tools button and select Advanced settings.
On the next screen, select
My Wi-Fi and tap the Enable WPS button.
This will enable the
WPS mode on your Huawei router to set up the wireless connection between the compatible network device.
