Before you begin, identify the wireless settings of your range extender.
Next, connect it to a wall outlet within the router’s Wi-Fi range and turn on the extender.
Once it has been powered on, connect your computer to the extender using the supplied Ethernet cable.
Some extenders do not support the Ethernet interface. In such cases, you can connect your computer to the extender’s Wi-Fi. Click the Network icon in the system tray and turn on the Wi-Fi button.
Choose the TP-Link extender’s Wi-Fi name from the list of available wireless networks.
Click the Connect button and enter the network key (if prompted).
Once a wireless connection has been established successfully, open the default browser on your computer.
Type your extender’s IP address in the URL field and press the Enter key to access the login portal.
Enter the default login credentials (admin for username and password) in the required fields and click Login to access the web management page.
