A router or modem comes with a unique SSID and wireless security key. The default settings for the Motorola device will be on the rear side. You can change the default SSID and password from the Web-based setup page using how to change the password on a Motorola wireless router. Changing the router’s SSID and password once in a while is a good practice. You can safeguard your router’s network from unauthorized access. Before you start the process, note the Motorola router’s default username and password.
Note: A password can be from 8 to 63 characters in length; it is recommended to use alphanumeric characters.
