Step 1: Making Initial Connections

  • Take out the router from its box and turn it on.
  • Connect an Ethernet cable to the WAN or Internet port of your D-Link DIR-825 router and your modem.
  • Take another LAN cable and connect one end to the LAN port (anyone) of your router and to your PC or Laptop.

Step 2: Configuring The Router

  • On your computer, open the default browser and type the router's IP address.

  • Enter the router password.

  • Under Wi-Fi, click Basic settings and select 2.4 GHz/5 GHz. Enter the required SSID channel and click on Apply.
  • At the top, click the System and Save button to save the changes made.
