The first step to do when your router malfunctions is to reset the router.

Method 1: Test The Internet Connection
This method is quite simple.
If you are using a wireless router, take an Ethernet cable and connect one end of the cable to the computer and the other end to the wireless router.
Restart the computer and try to access the router configuration page.
You can easily check if the internet connection is working using a wired interface.
If you find out the wired connection has failed, you can contact your Internet service provider for further assistance.

Method 2: Reset The Router

Open the default browser on the computer and enter the router login URL or the router IP address in the address bar.

Log in to the router’s web page by entering its IP address in the browser.
Enter the default login credentials:
