Step 1 - DSL filter:

Establish a connection between a DSL filter and a phone jack using a cable.

Step 2 - Connecting the AC power adapter:

  • Place the CenturyLink modem in a highly ventilated location.
  • Take an AC power adapter and connect its one end to the rear side of the CenturyLink modem.
  • The other end of the AC power adapter needs to be connected to the power source for Centurylink Dsl router setup.
  • If the modem has a Power button, hold it to turn on the modem.
  • If the modem does not have the Power button, it will turn on automatically once you are done with the AC power adapter connection.
