Router Mode

Physical Setup

  • Connect your Asus router to the power outlet.
  • Using an Ethernet cable, connect the router to the modem.

  • Open a web browser on your computer.
  • In the address field, type your router’s IP address.
  • If prompted, type the router’s default credentials for signing in.
  • After signing into your router’s web access page, click on the Operation mode option.

  • From the drop-down menu, choose your ISP service type.
  • Type the ISP information in the given fields.
  • Finally, click on the button named Apply all settings.

Physical Setup

  • Connect your modem to the main router using an Ethernet cable.
  • Similarly, connect your Asus router to the main router over Wi-Fi.
  • Using another Ethernet cable, connect your computer to the main router.

  • Go to your Asus RT-N10U router’s web access page.
  • Click on the Operation Mode option.
  • Choose the Repeater mode option from the list.
  • To save the settings, click on the Save button.
