Now, let’s see the procedure for the Asus RT-AX1800 router setup in detail.Before you start the router setup, make sure that your Asus router is unpacked and placed within the range of your modem.
Step-by-step instructions to perform the Asus RT-AX1800 router set up
Step 1: Prepare your modem
Turn off your modem if it is turned on.
Make sure to remove the battery backup from your modem if available.
Now, using a bundled network cable, connect your Asus RT-AX1800 router to the modem.
Make sure to connect the cable securely.
Now, turn on your modem.
Check if the DSL or cable LED light on your modem’s control panel is blinking.
