Method 2: Change Wi-Fi Channel

  • Log in to the router's administrative interface on your computer’s browser.
  • Click the Wireless tab available at the top of the screen.
  • Select the 802.11 Radio option from the drop-down menu.
  • Select the desired channel number from the Channel pull-down menu.
  • It is suggested to select the non-overlapping channels among the 11 channels (for 2.45GHz).
  • If your router supports 5GHz bandwidth, select it first.
  • Choose a non-overlapping channel from the list of 23 channels.
  • Once you have changed the Wi-Fi channels, click the Apply button to save the changes to set up Arris router settings for gaming.
