- Make sure to configure the router and connect it to your computer.
- You can connect the router to your computer either using an Ethernet cable or connect it wirelessly.
- Press the Windows and R buttons together on your computer to open the Run dialog box.
- Type “cmd” in the Search section. Then, press the Enter key.
- Now, the Command Prompt window will be opened.
- Type “ipconfig” and locate the IP address of the Arris router in the Default Gateway section.
- Open your browser and enter the IP address in the URL section.
- Enter the username and password of the router.
- The default username is admin and password is password.
- Once you have entered the credentials for authentication, click on the Log In button.
- Once you are on the web interface page of the Arris router, you can set the settings to control the bandwidth.
